All in the title, I want to hear your opinion on which one gives a better impression.

I realise that I should probably buy a .com, .net, .info, whatever domain - but at the moment I can't find one without the initial set-up cost for a monthly fee.

My opinion is to do your best for a com. It is really different from all.

co.nr is closest to the .com, seems more professional than the otherss...

Of course in terms of SEO etc... a .com is the best investment

It depends on the nature of your business. If your site is more on business, then .com is good.

Then wait till you can buy a .com domain , none of the free extension with few popups can be considered professional.
