Hey guys don't know much about motherboards and cpus and wanna know.
Can anyone tell me to upgrade my computer am i able to just upgrade the motherboard and cpu or do i need more?
Also i want to do low end video editing store music burn dvds and play dvds and just use the computer for everyday web browsing.
Only going to run Windows XP.
If i put 3 gig of ram in it will it run superfast and be really efficient?

If you buy a new Motherboard and CPU, you will also need to get memory too.
Also, you will need to check that your current hardware is compatible.
I.e: If your old Motherboard used IDE (ribbon) to connect your hard drives and CD/DVD roms, you will need to make sure that the new motherboard had IDE slots.
Same goes for SATA drives too.
