hi there, ive got a bit of a problem. my laptop runs XP Media Center and whenever i try to install it it asks for the sata drivers for my hdd.
ive tried to install them rom a usb storage device but it wont take them. im assuming therefor that it must be installed from a floppy drive. if anyone can confim this for me id be very pleased.
also if that is the case, my laptop does not have a floppy drive. so would it work if i used a usb floppy drive.

did you try skip through when it as for the sata drives , i have usb floppy but have never tried to use it in this fashion so can say if it will work
you could try nlite and create a win media disk adding the sata drivers .step 2 shows integrating drivers
how to use nlite and just click download for the program .
