The Motherboard in a computer is the main part that everything else attaches to or comes already built on to. As a result the motherboard is the part that controls communication between all the various parts of a computer the processor, hard drive, memory, keyboard, mouse ect.... The data from each of these passes back and forth acrosss the motherboard.
