So I've got this Sony Vaio with an Intel Pentium4 and it will not boot into Windows, it just restarts. On restart in brings up an error saying that the CPU temp is out of range and asks me to press f2. Press f2 and go into the BIOS, I go to the hardware monitor and it says my CPU temp is between 98C and 101C. I have replaced the CPU cooler, applied thermal paste.

After a few times of getting that error it now is sounding an alarm that sounds like a siren. I imagine this is for the CPU temp and it will turn off after the alarm.

What could be causing this? I've changed the fan, applied new thermal paste, it's not overclocked.

The cpu already got problem already. If got warranty send it back if not just buy a new one. The psu also one of the reason to cause this
