the monitor doesn't display anything,
but the CPU and the monitor power on very well. so please help me, i tried to remove ram for sometime and put it back thats when it worked and after switching it off and on again it does the same problem,then i removed motherboard power cable and put it back it displayed propally but after switching it off and on again it does the same problem. so i don't know what to do next please help
Have you tried connecting the monitor to another PC?
How about changing out video cards?
I had a similar problem with a friend's system and it turned out that the cpu was bad. The system would power up, but not POST and I swapped out every component, including the mobo. Nothing worked until I replaced the cpu....I'm not saying this is the answer, simply something to think about.
