Hi, my Dell studio 1555 won't start up. I had it on yesterday, carried it into the other room and when i got there the computer wouldn't come out of sleep mode. I turned off the computer and now it won't boot up. When i press the power button it makes a click sound as if it is starting up and the light comes on but the laptop doesn't sound like it is running and the screen stays black. Does anyone know what the problem may be, or if there is simple solution besides taking it to be repaired?

HMmm, Click sound is usually the sign of a bad hard drive.
Try Removing the battery and boot with only the charger?
I would also suggest back your things up as soon as you can your drive may be failing if it hasn't failed already.
