I've got a K8N-E motherboard, and I need to take the retention module off to install my heatsink. Unfortunately, rather than being screwed on, it looks like it's held to the board with little plastic pins. Anyone know how to get these out? Thanks

Jump to PostTo remove the pins, take a pair of strong pliers and sqeeze together the base of the plastic pin and push it out through the other side at the same time.

To remove the pins, take a pair of strong pliers and sqeeze together the base of the plastic pin and push it out through the other side at the same time.
