Hi,
My pc seems to start since im able to hear the fan running but there is no display in the monitor.
I've checked my monitor and it is fine.
An other interesting thing is that after repeatedly trying to start my system it seems to boot after a random trial but hangs after the desktop screen appears.
Any suggestions? thanks.

If the CPU is not the issue, pull everything out of the case and breadboard the rig.

Breadboarding:

  1. Put mobo on a non-conductive surface
  2. Install:
    a. 1 stick of RAM
    b. PSU
    c. CPU/Heatsink assembly

What speedtaxi12 suggests is not for most people to try. My advice is to contact the PC manufacturer and if advised to do so, send it in for repair.
