Ok im working on my friends Compaq 2200. I'v installed a new harddrive and proceeded to install xp. Xp seamed to install properly however once it restarts and gets past the windows load screen, screen goes blank but i can hear the startup sound and it seems to be working just i cant see it. Any Ideas or suggestions?

Iv booted it up in VGA mode but it seems to get an windows explorer error when i do so. Should i try to find a driver update and install it through vga mode?
