Ok, it all started about a month ago. My mom was hear and she was online playing slots, that caused us for some reason to uninstall and reinstall java, then, internet explorer started acting up! hyperlinks that opened in a new window wouldnt open, html editor option for some reason has notpad in the box where it has always been blank, and i couldn't chkdsk at start up, message was "Can not access Volume." Well now that all that has been taken care of, except notpad is still in the html editor box. chkdsk finally fixed most problems! ran ad adware and spybot. Everything is back to norm but i cant play .wmv files on windows media player (operating system cant run 1%)or DivX (there doesnt appear to be a video attached to this file) i also can not access the network funtion in options on the Media player!

OK, i did everything that was listed and wah la! everything is working fine! my DivX player is playing the files also with out audio, but im sure if i uninstall then reinstall it should work too!
