I tried to print a web site and got this messahe printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources print subsystem is unavailable

Try Start-->Run-->net start spooler then click OK

Sometimes you get that error when the print spooler isn't started.

You can also check Start-->Run-->Services.msc then click OK

...here's where you can verify that the print spooler service isn't set to "disabled"...if it is then set it to "manual" or "automatic".

Hi all, sure need help . OS is XP Pro , with SP 1 . deleted old printer , pluged in new one . went to install new software . now the problem , the spooler has stoped running . started spooler again , checked task manager an it wont stay running . spooler is set to auto . can not install new software . Help befor i go crazy !
