I accidentally dragged a $NtUninstall folder from my C:\WINDOWS directory into another $NtUninstall folder and now I can't move the folder and its contents back to where it was.

That is, I moved $NtUninstallKB821557$ from C:\WINDOWS into C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB823182$ and when I try to move $NtUninstallKB821557$ back to C:\WINDOWS, I get the following error:

"Cannot create or replace $NtUninstallKB821557$: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use."

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this problem so I don't know if this will work, but have you tried it in Safe Mode?
