hi guys!!!

am only new here, so I hope I'm in the right spot. :) mods, apologies if this thread is in the wrong forum!

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop and it keeps freezing. so I have to turn the power off then back on (which prompts me to start normally or in safe mode etc)

It happens everytime I am online and I usually get about 20 minutes of browsing before I freeze. Ctrl Alt + delete doesnt even work!

I have AVG anitvirus and spybot.

I have turned the laptop off and pressed F12 and went to diagnostics (its currently still processing a memory test) but the only thing that has failed is: Hard Drive DST Test.

I have no idea what this is :(

I have tried to contact Dell Support but I cant get through online or via telephone. Oh I should probably point out aswell that I am in Dublin Ireland.

I really hope someone can help me out here! :)
