i am useing a dial up connection but a massegr keeps comeing up tellin me im unable to connect, help please

Posting Whiz in Training
1. Check the cables if they are connected correctly.
2. Check the device manager for devices that aren't installed properly.
3. See if you are using the correct users name and password for your connection.
Some more details would also be fine (Operating System, 56K Modem, ISDN or DSL etc.)
