Hey, I got a bit of a prob here. First heres my specs:
Gateway GT5220
AMD Athlon 64 X2 2 GHz
3 GB (DDR2 SDRAM)
Expansion Slots PCI Express x16 x 1 • PCI Express x1 x 1 • PCI x 2
250 GB PATA HDD
XP MCE/Vista Dual Boot

I just ordered a GeForce 9400gt,so I need a psu as mine is only 300w. I am completely tech savy,but for some reason,I cannot confidently pick out a PSU. Do I have to worry about having PATA drives,because I assume the new psu will have SATA hook-ups. Or are the power hookups on both sata and pata the same? What should I look for in my new PSU? Any comments would REALLY help,because I have a new vid card on the way but cannot run it untill I get a PSU lol.Thanks.
