I'm working on my boss' son's Dell XPS, and it's blue screening with 00000024. It appears to be an error with ntfs.sys. I tried to run the Recovery Console to reload ntfs.sys, but it blue screens (00000007) before I can get to that point.

Any ideas how I can get past this point so I can restore ntfs.sys?

Thanks

Jim

If you have another PC and are technically inclined, download the Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows and use the tool (forgot the name) to restore to a previous restore point.

I appreciate that. I'll give it a try.
