I installed my Office professional 2003 then later I was having trouble with error when I was surfing and the only thing I had added was office when I went to repair it, I was told that .CAB file was missing. I uninstalled then did it again it still says that it is missing that file. What can I do??? Thanks for any help. It would be appreciated.

Is your disk scratched at all? That could be the culprit.

I'd also try and copy it manually with a verification (/v ) afterwards

start>run>cmd
copy (CD drive letter):\(path to file from CD)\WhateverFile.CAB (HD drive letter):\(path to save to) /v
