I am getting set up to use photoshop elements and i am thinking of getting two sata drives to use as a striped array to handle the data files. If i do that do I need to install a seperate operating system on the array? I don't think i should, but I'm not sure how to go about setting it up. Presently i have two eide drives. can i boot up on drive o and then run programs etc from the array?
[not sure if this is the right place for the question, but had ot start somewhere]

Yes. You absolutely can do that. But, you'll have to uninstall the program from Drive 0, and then reinstall it, being sure to specify you want to install it on the right drive.
