Sir I have a compact laptop. When I am putting CD/DVD to my drive its showing the autoplay option but when I am opening the cd/dvd its not showing any content rather its showing some music file like file. I am unknown of the fact that whether its a hardware or software problem. Can some body give me a solution to this.

No its not a genuine music file. It also dose not play. It is just of size 2kb.

It was not a music cd or dvd. Rather the CD was containing some driveres of my compaq Laptop. Now I am finding nothig there. Few months back it was working properly but just 15 days back the issue has come forth.
Try another (preferably a manufactured one) to see if it plays.
