Here is something that has me stumped.

At work I have a workgroup of WinXP PRo computers. 1 XP box is used as a file server in order to centralize file shares. I have 3 users setup where I redirected the my docs to a folder on the server. 2 of them it works fine, the other cannot delete files from the my docs folder.

The setup is lke this:
My docs is redirected to \\server\documents\user1 The documents folder is shared, the user1 folder is not. Share permissions are set at full control for everyone on documents folder. The user has full control NTFS permission for user1 folder. User1 folder does not inherit any permissions.

I mapped a network drive on the client to \\server\document\user1 The same folder that my docs points to. Files can be deleted from the mapped drive, but not from my docs even though it is the same location with the same permissions. If I navigate to that folder using my network places, I cannot delete files from that folder. This only happens on this one computer. I redirected my docs on 2 other computers and it works fine.

-simple file sharing is turned off
-I checked permissions both on the server and the client and delete is allowed

Any ideas?
