I have an SBS 2008 server that controls pretty much everything in our small business enviroment however every once a week at some point it fails to resolve dns querys. The lose of the internet is soon resolved by restarting the dns service however ideally id like to create another dns server. How does the sbs server pickup the presents of the new dns server and broadcast this to all the clients?
Any help gratefully received.

Solomonski,

Add the new DNS server to your clients DNS list via your DHCP server or if you are running static IP then add it manually to your clients. Since your primary one is acting up I would add the new server as your primary and have the one that is having a problem as your secondary.
