I have HP Pavilion dv6516tx Entertainment Notebook PC.

It came with vista. I install fresh(No upgrade) Window 7 on it.
The problem is its DVD burner is not working.

It burning CD, reading DVD.

But not burning DVD's.
Could any one plz help me.

How can i troubleshoot DVD burner.

please help.

HP don't support windows 7 for that particular model. What version of windows 7 have you put on it? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
