I have a customer with a pc that is getting a message on shutdown. Irql_not_less_or_equal. I haven't seen the message. I have read about this error and if you ask 5 peolple you may get 7 answers. Where do I start to troubleshoot this problem?

Take out all but the essential hardware and see if you still get the error if not put each device back in one at a time and reboot each time untill you get the error again. An IRQ error is normally caused by conflicting hardware.
