Recently I have upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. Skype is not working, I have tried to re-install by uninstalling the skype. Can anyone help.

You need to be more specific. As I read https://support.skype.com/en/skype/all/troubleshooting/ there are many reasons Skype does not work. I can't tell which failure you are experiencing.
