I run my laptop with windows XP as an administrator. I recently made a guest account as well as a limitted account for some people that will be using it temporarily.
One thing I noticed is that symantec antivirus autoprotect fails to start on both accounts.
Also, websites which use SSL don't load, for example www.gmail.com won't load on either account.
If i change the limitted account to an administrator however, both of these problems are resolved.
I can't seem to figure out why this is happening or how to remedy it because I know antivirus works and I know SSL works on other WinXP boxes I have with limitted accounts.
Anyone experience this before?
