I have a radeon 9550 and Windos Xp, when i run dxdiag this appear:

Check Device manager and make sure that the Display Drivers are installed properly and that no devices have a yello exclamation mark or question mark next to them. Just to be sure, download the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI's web site and install those to see if the issue is resolved
