I have a PC on loan and I need to format it before I give it back. Its running on Windows XP Pro, but I don't have any discs. Is there any way of doing this without the XP disc???

if it has a floppy drive ,go to www.bootdisk.com and get a win98 boot disk ,boot to the A:\ prompt ans type in format c:

If your intention after formatting is to clear all your data. Think again, your need a special program shredder to destroy all of the data.
