I am on Win xp with sp2 os. For some reason whenever I start the pc a strange window comes up on the screen saying "System Has Recovered from a Serious Error". I send the error report to Microsoft and it still stays there on the screen. Even the cancel button does not help at all. This happens every time the pc is started. Any ideas? Thanks...

first thing is go to Control Panel - System - advanced - error reporting - check disable error reporting and take the check mark out of but notify me when critical errors occur.reboot

then go to administrative tools if yours isn't set to classic view it will be in perfomance and maintenance.then Event Viewer check system and application logs.
