Hi,

My windows xp machine won't shutdown when I click 'Start->Shutdown'. It remains idle/does nothing. Only hibernate is working. What is wrong? How will I fix this? any help would be appreciated.

please click on that f8 key and go to the option for last good known working condition.go through and check with this i wll try and reply u
