When I attempt to install Windows 2000 Professional via Caldera DR-DOS, I get the same error to the one found within this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=228218

The cause apparently is due to my not having any defined partitions. After some poking around, I found this site:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/serveroptions/us/download/23839.html

As far I know, this program will partition a memory stick - so I downloaded and used it on my memory stick; with every choice made in the program being the first/ top one (the choices available are viewable here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00218060/c00218060.pdf).

Albeit, when I attempt to install windows again via Caldera DR-DOS: the same error occurs, even though the partitioned memory stick is detected (as when I "dir" C: the contents of the partitioned stick are shown). At this point I was running out of ideas and decided to enter the Boot Menu, thereby noticing "USB Diskette on Key" was the 3rd option, and I selected it with the following the result:

Computer went into a sequence in DOS -> "Initializing all devices. Please DO NOT BOOT the system!" -> bash-2.05b# -> blank black screen.

I'm now at a loss as to what should be done ;_;.

[sidenote: I wiped all of the drives on the computer using DBAN.]
