Hi all;


I'm new here so I'm not sure if this is the appropriate group but the problem I have

Running Windows X/P Home Version:


I have a template folder which contains a number of folders in it. I make a copy of that folder and rename it to a production name and then populate it with the data. The problem is after I do the Rename. The Copy Version (prior to the rename) has the same file view settings as the original, but as soon as I rename the folder it loses the original file view settings and reverts to the default view, I then have to go in and reset the view settings.

Is there a way I can have the view propogated so the copied/renamed folder has the same view settings as the original.


Thanks for any help on the problem.

Have you tried the Tools/Folder Options/View-->Apply to all Folders setting from the original folder?
