I have Verizon broadband Westell 6100 modem, a Linksys WRT300N router and a Compaq c714NR laptop. I also have a desktop computer plugged in. Both the desktop and laptop work wired. The laptop won't work wireless. The laptop can't find a network. The wireless adapter light on the lap top is on and the icon in the lower right is there also. I also bought a Linksys wireless adapter WUSB300N and that won't work either.

I am not sure if some settings are wrong or what is going on. I would appreciate any help anyone can give.
