Hi,
I have a few scripts that run nsupdate to add and remove records from a zone. They seem to run OK i.e. I can see no errors anywhere in debug or named or selinux audit or messages logs or any explanation as to why it doesn't work at all really. They get as far as writting a .jnl file but this doesn't get written to the actual zone file. However if I restart named the changes are made. From the behaviour I would assume it was a permissions issue but everything appears to be set OK and as I said I can't see any errors in any log anywhere. I have googled a lot but haven't managed to find anything of any help.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or how I can narrow it down or even where I could look for more info? I'm using BIND 9.3.6 on RHEL 5.5
