Hi, i'm new to this site but i have read many posts that explain this problem. I've read all of them but i either cant understand them or they just wont work

I've just got a new black router from sky which will work perfectly when i use the ethernet cable but when i try to connect wirelessly it connects to the network but the internet won't work. It also shows that it is local only with no internet.

I have a hp pavillion laptop if anybody needs to know. Thanks for any help that is given

maybe you had the wrong way of wireless connectivity..

I assume you've power cycled your router? I'm thinking... I want to say I've had this problem before but I can't remember what I did
