I work for company recently installed IP camera AV8185 (4 camera inside each 2Mp MPEG-4/h.264 output). I have been tasked to stream the video live using open source server). i have no idea what others are using that's free. I am a programmer. other option would be to develop my own streaming server but i think it would take a lot of time.
Please help me on this.
Sorry no one has helped you yet. I'm a LAN admin. here & have experiance with on line security cameras, but no IP cams. IP cameras tend to use alot of bandwidth as does live video streaming. Am using a dell p.c. as server & static IP to connect from browser. The company I got software & cams from is called Q-see, they may be able to help you....
