I have bought a new Netgear WNR614 N300 Wi-Fi Router.
I plug in the power cable and all the LEDs light up and then after few seconds only the Power LED and the Wireless stay on.
I plug in the DSL cable provided by the ISP and the Internet Connection LED doesn't light up.
I plug in the same DSL cable provided by the ISP in to the old Dlink Router and the Internet Connection LED lights up and the wireless and other things work on Dlink Router without nay issue.
When I plug the DSL cable into the Netgear, it doesn't turn on the Internet Connection LED.
I did the port test by plugging the LAN and WAN port and the Internet connection LED comes up without any issue.

I am not sure why the router is not detecting the DSL cable.
Can someone help me, please.

The WNR614 I looked up does not have the DSL modem in it so let's hear about the old Dlink Router. Model number please and let's see if it's one of those Modem and Router combinations.
