How can I boost the strenght of the wireless card in my laptop? I stumbled onto a place to do it quite a while back, but haven't been able to find it since then. I know it will make the battery drain faster, but don't care at the moment.

i've never seen anything like that actually. i'm sure it exists. you can always buy those little usb antenas that you can hook up to your computer. they're supposed to pickup signals from farther away. but i don't know how good it would work for you.
