Re: Are you kidding me? Or maybe thats a video of lower quality, cuz in the one in the link I can barely make heads or toes of what song is even playing. Okay then. Nobody is against these labels protecting their property; it's theirs. But sometimes I just have to …

Re: I agree, although some workers really do overdo the email abuse, the right course of action is not to ban email for an entire day. Maybe they should be creative and find a way to ban all that abusive CCing and spare us some email about mutated birds without beaks …
Re: Easy there... for someone who doesn't seem to like people making things out for more than they are, you sure can make a molehill into a mountain...
Re: At the risk off pissing many people off, there isn't much incentive for developers to really develop commercial games for Linux. It really depends on if the developer feels like doing it, as opposed to being compelled to, as the market just isn't there. This holds somewhat true for some …

Re: Sometimes I believe that some of those government agencies are run by a dumbed down hard-headed alien civilisation (and Bush is their front man xP). Seriously though. Being hacked one time isn't enough to decided to severe their systems from internet access? Imho, things like that, you can't just slap …
Re: Why does it seeem that with each passing day China is becoming more and more of a problem? Also, those figures are not good for the U.S. either. The bottom half of the list aren't so bad, IMO (statistically speaking...I'm sure the actual figures are sound a lot worse). The …
Re: Woot... more CHOICE... A linux phone with a wmp11 codec seems a bit off, but stranger things happen every day. Also, I hope that predicted growth is not derived on a straight line basis. Long-term market trends have a tendency to be anything but straight-line steady. Still, Linux powered phones …
Re: I dunno...I like the idea behind the way it works. Can't say the user interface is in any way enjoyable though....
Re: Hey that "let's blame MS" campaign I did a while back was pure kicks. I didn't expect anyone to take it so far....
Re: I hardly doubt they would have the audacity to interupt calls with advertising, blah blah blah. There's lots of ways to get that advert kaching without being so intrusive. You just need a few brains and lots of dough to figure them out. Google has both...

Re: Using those satelittes is an invasion of public privacy. You said it yourself, you even got messenger chats from it. It's not a wise thing to do politically (just like wire tapping), and that is probably why nobody has done it.
Re: and do for God's sakes stay away from porn. It's not a good thing.
Re: Haha, is it bad that I found that letter amusing? On another note, which of those guys do you think would win in a fight? I'm rooting for Davies...cause I can't pronounce the other one...

Re: What about the actual movies? I may be dead wrong, but doesn't Sony restrict their movies to Blue Ray? I mean, I understand someone's not going to go buy a Blue Ray player to watch a single movie (well..., I won't), but what about if they just release this endless …

Re:
basically what bumsfield said is right but i like to think of them as the dll's of the python world
Well they actually really are dlls. It's just that the routines inside are built on the python C API. To use them, just import them like any other module.
Re: But what's the big deal?
Re: I've found that Python has excellent documentation, followed by PHP. The Windows APIs are well documented as well. Once you get accustomed to programming with any of those, you can get quite far on your own by reading their respective manuals.
Re: What vegaseat said. And if you're trying to optimise your program by using the most "efficient" of these, you have issues.
Re: I'm confused. Are you implementing your own proprietary playlist format, a widely format, or a playlist format specific to wxMediaCtrl?
Re: I'm not even going to lecture you about why that is just horrible UX. If you want to put your users through that kind of torture, it's your call. The principle of what you're trying to achieve is the same no matter what toolkit you use. I don't use Tkinter …

I can launch into a long exposition on why I think it doesn't …
Re: I won't go as far as to call it amazing, but yes its definitely a step (or several) in the right direction from Vista. Some of the new APIs are nice to play around with (note verb play) too. I definitely prefer it to Vista and XP.

It's time to get that stick out of your butt and start using it. So what if the standard says so? You're only writing code for Windows anyway (and if you aren't, the chances that someone else is even going to need to use your program are really slim) so …
Re: 1. You control the way your Car class prints by adding an __str__ method to it. Here is an example:
def __str__(self): s = self.brand, self.name +": $", self.price #eg: Dodge Viper: $80000 return s
2. Because you're not checking the list properly. You are asking if the string the …
