Well the 0x0000000A error code relates to the following: "Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software" This would mean that you have an incorrect driver for some hardware that you have installed. Refer back to the version on the CD's given with the hardware product, in your case the wireless router.

71 Degrees C is quite high. Most ideal temperatures should really be below 60 Degrees C. So i am thinking that this is most defiantly a cooling issue. I would think about getting one of the passive cooling laptop rests. You sit your laptop on it, and the fans in the rest sucks all the hot air away and provides cooler air. I have seen them about, but are not sure exactly how they work.

That would be a good idea to do. Contact the people that sold you your Laptop (see if they have a website). A laptop is meant to last for years, not months :P Do tell us the temperature of your CPU when you get this software running. Check the temperature before it freezes or have the program open, so that it freezes with the temperature still showing.
Normally overheating is caused by the fans not working as efficiently as they should be, at cooling the CPU and other system critical components. There are some good temperature monitoring tools that can be downloaded. I hear SpeedFan is quite good, http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php , but i am sure there are some others which are also highly rated. To download SpeedFan click the link and press on the hyperlink that says 'SpeedFan 4.33' . That is the latest non-beta version. Simply download it, install it, and run it to monitor the temperature of the parts in your system. Also with it being well under a year old, i would be tempted to take it back to place where u bought it. Seeing as this laptop is providing some grief.

This means that one of the drivers for some of your hardware is outdated or wrong. Check that all your devices that are USB (mice, keyboards and other peripherals for example) and any sound cards and graphics cards have the latest drivers installed.

lol They are both fine games really, except Football as in FIFA football, is I would say more popular and well know world wide. Having the World Cup competition happening every 4 years, and many of the countries around the world playing football helps. Not many countries play American Football, because it would then not be American Football, seeing as it is not played in America. :P But it's a sport, and people like what they like.
How old is this laptop funwadi? Do you think that it is a build up of dust then caperjack? It would seem a plausible explanation, if this laptop was over a year or so old.
Totally agree with ya caperjack, if it is in warranty take it back! Do you think it's the CPU overheating? That could cause this kinda issue, with lots of freezing.
