| | Sounds like a heat problem. Dont know the configuration of the laptop, but can almost bet the fan to cool it is not running at all or not running at the right speed. Some fans are easy to replace, some require you take the whole darned thing apart. |
 | You did not say whether or not you have upgraded this computer like with a newer graphics card or anything. I have seen this problem when people upgraded something, and the power supply is not powerful enough to run all that's there. |
