Your first mistake was the eMachine lol :cheesy: but try hooking something up on your usb and then do a detect hardware wizard see if that works and for your sound try uninstalling it in the device manager and reinstalling it and updateing all the drivers hope this helps -Zach …

before you sell it try a different program like if you have a web cam some webcam programs allow you to use a different imageing device but make sure your drivers are all up to date

I have had a similar problem with the mouse thing but you should try uninstalling the card in the device manager and reinstalling then updateing the driver and then keep the mouse away from the speaker this is what worked for me when i had this problem hope this helps …

Did you check the jumpers? if your jumpers are good then check your device manager and if it is listed in the harddirve list remove it and re-install it and then format it with windows by going in MS-DOS prompt Hope This Helps -Zach Boyce

Try a different burning program such as Roxio or just use the windows burning program. i have used nero and encounterd many problems with it just kind of a comment but you really should try a differnt program hope this helps -Zach Boyce
