its not a virus, it means someone or something is probing your virtual ports, to see if any are open (e.g what servers you have running on your machine)

sounds like the fan is blocked with dusts or the bearings are worn out the temps are okay but a bit the cpu temp is a bit high

you need to find out whetheryour pc has an AGP or PCi Express slot first. That card is PCI express but your pc is probably AGP (better check though) - also your PC probably doesnt have a big enough Power Supply to run that card.

might be an os / bios bug but could also be spyware my lenovo laptop had a jumpy mouse because the bios had a bug in the interrupt system, so when it played sounds, everything went slow.

it exists because it can be very fast and small code as its almost 1:1 with the compiled binary - thats why asm is popular with things where size/speed is important e.g embedded applications.

Try holding down spacebar when it boots. Also, go into the BIOS and choose to "load optimised defaults" then save - this is usually on the exit screen somewhere

windows likes to be installed first. its picky install windows first. EIther tell it to only use half the drive, or shrink the partition using the ubuntu livecd, and use the newly created space.
