yeah but no i think you can get it on OEM but then you still have to buy it with a "system critical - non peripheral component" like a motherboard or a cpu, in order to meet the licence terms.

use nlite (i think vlite is the vista version?) to slipstream the chipset drivers (sata controller) into a new OS image. I did that to get XP to work with my SCSI RAID. before i needed to hit F(6?) and use floppies

is it slipstreamed? on cds that you have slipstreamed it sometimes gives you errors but generally you dont need to worry about them if its an actual pressed xp cd then its not normal
