His wife should speak up and say hello :)

(We wont bite -- We promise)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Its sad he hasnt posted since.......

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes.... That base cant be indexed by google now can it? :D

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

That might do it im not sure......

Can someone set thier quality really LOW and see what happens?

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I have seen that a few times on some sites, seems like the browser loses sync and displays the raw data..... (I havent seen it here though)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I just found out that my wife has been using this site but she says she isnt.

Well welcome to our site :)

Your wife is most likely here for general chatter like most of us are......

Maybe she came ashore for some computer help and has decided to stay!!!

Whatever the case,we invite the same from you my friend :)

The Dude :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

You have your browser set zoomed in.

I just tried that on IE6 dani,i zoomed in to 220% and didnt see what he is seeing....

Hmmm

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

It doesnt matter what its for, they have thier network secured for a reason and you shouldnt be trying to figure out a way around it! (Network admins frown on that big time)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I think this thread has gone on far too long. It was questionable to begin with, and it's turned into "Why I can't wait to surf for pr0n until I get home from school."

You are correct....

We usually do not allow discussions on ways to bypass school filters,etc............

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

A microphone cover?

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I was sort of right :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

A piece of paper with pencil holes all thru it :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes it says that to everyone my friend :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes VBB 3.7 can be seen now here

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum

Its the first Beta..

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I just wait until i have read all the bases and then i click MARK ALL READ

http://www.daniweb.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?do=markread

That usually works fine :)

~s.o.s~ commented: ...and there are many others. :-) +21
The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I have mine set @ 24 hour :)

Remember WALT,"Database thread tracking" is in effect here and if you dont click MARK ALL READ,your "New posts" wont be updated (All posts you didnt read that were NEW before will still be marked that way)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

How much does it consume Dani when the normal search file is used?? (I remember you did tell me it was heavy on the server)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Your site is the only site i goto that wants to DOWNLOAD THE SWF FILE (I just tried it again (It should play it in the embedded flash player on your site))

Im glad ya got things working :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

See if you can open this my friend (Its a game)

It should open right in your browser

http://ntu.csie.org/~piaip/games/swf/yeti2.swf

You may just have to do a SYSTEM RESTORE to a few days ago (when things worked) and it might be fine. (As far as opening directly)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

You must not have the SWF player embedded correctly because when i goto your site,i get a DL box for "music.swf"

That file should be executed by your embedded player, not DLed to the guests computer!

Good luck!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Hello my friend,

Your making sure to click "LOGOUT" right?

After you logout, simply refresh the page and you should indeed by logged out!

Good luck!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Nothing loaded wieh ni went to that either....

I did a lookup on Google and discovered its a search engine site........ (Had to get the cached copy) in chinese or something......

You probably have spyware on there my friend.....

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Hmmmm when i try to goto that page nothing loads.......

Have you checked in your registry for this key?? (It would have this url in it)

You might have some spyware HIJACKING YOUR BROWSER.....

Please run this program and post your log for evaluation.....

http://majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes because the shell is basically "Iexplore" but 'LOCALLY' on your computer......

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes it just "calls IE" when you goto a URL from a folder :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Thank you Dani, your doing a good job!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Very good!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Yes it is... You have to know the value of PI and then divde it by 17 then add 4 then goto 'AREA 51' and get the secret link to click to retrieve it!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I don't post anymore..

Hmmmm it must have been a ghost that made this post with your account then :D

tgreer commented: I knew some idiot would post this kind of off-topic nonsense. You win. -1
The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Very good Dani :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Hmmmm very strange!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I dont really know the point behind it...

We could set the base to delete anything posted there every day automatically...... (If ppl really want a test area)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Are you using a browser that has an AUTO REFRESH option??

Like with my broswer "MyIE2" i can set an auto refresh which will do what your stating..... (I dont use it though)

Good luck!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

If we had a test area here,we should disable post counts ON THAT BASE (So ppl dont just post crap to increase thier count)

Many sites im on have such an area and almost all of them have post counts disabled...

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

MyIE2 is an IE add on that uses the IE engine to render pages and such.........

www.myie2.com/index2.htm (Its been renamed to Maxthon but the last version of "MyIE2" can still be gotton @ the link above)

The best ever :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I just tested it in MyIE2 (Using IE6) and it displays properly.........

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

I just checked my config.sys for the hey for it and i have '9,256' set for "Stacks" Does that mean 256M of ram??

Glad ya got things taken care of Don :) (98 rocks!)

Welcome to the site!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Windows XP Professional is the best ever OS

Some would beg to differ my friend...

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Welcome to daniweb!

^ Very nice friend :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Welcome to Daniweb....

XM radio will broadcast over an FM radio which you can set a cassette recorder to record whatever is coming over the frequency you set it :)

The radio has its own transmitter OR you can get an external one...

http://www.wholehousefmtransmitter.com/xm-fm-transmitter.php

Good luck :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Well thats very good :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Sometimes that happens when i login to sites also but it still logs in.. (When the passwird dissapears its being submitted to the server)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Welcome to the site :)

Looks like the page isnt loading completly... Try resetting your DSL modem.. (Unplug it and then plug it back in)

Good luck :)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Maybe his connection wasnt good enough and when trying to open a large thread it locks up until the thread is loaded. (Happens alot on many sites)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

That might make his site extremly slow wouldnt it??

Trying to force ppl to use scripts isnt a good idea cause it causes problems, there are other anti spam measures you can enable though that would weed out spam bots........

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

$3.19 is the highest here right now!

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

There are two reasons why we use database thread tracking as opposed to cookie-based tracking. The first is that it was requested by members who want tracking information to remain consistant between their home or work computers. The second is that we have a lot of members in the tech talk category who very frequently clear their cookies.

Ah i see :)

It would be better i think if VBB made it a LOCAL setting instead of a GLOBAL setting i think :)

But a couple times it has been usefull Dani! -- On a couple sites im on that use it,i logged on but had to logoff again quickly and go back later (And i didnt lose my place of knowing which bases had new activity, etc)

The Dude 944 Nearly a Senior Poster

Ya. The ones in BETA are brand new and might have issues.... I would suggest downloading the other one my friend :)

Good luck!
