I think there's a balance. I have found that when my CTR is too high, I'm probably wasting money buying a phrase I shouldn't have bought. Or spending too much on the PPC.

How long have you waited? It could take weeks for Google to decide to index your entire site.

mackone, that's a good point. I'd also suggest, if you plan to remain in your area, to talk with some of the local job placement companies to get a field for demand in each area. This might help you decide upon a direction.

I'm amazed at the amount of addiction to facebook and twitter. I use them, but I don't completely understand the obsession with them.

Meta tags are not very important. Title tags, alt tags, and even the name of the image itself is all helpful for SEO. Good content on page. And work on developing backlinks.

Some jobs we do for a flat fee. Others on a per hour basis. Hourly charge anywhere from $75-150/hour. Most important thing is to properly spec out the project, and have the customer sign off on it. Then if customer starts asking for things not in the original outline, you …

I would not exchange links like this either. Google wouldn't approve, though they'd likely never find it. I wouldn't do it because I only link out to something that's relevant and helpful to a visitor. There are other ways to build your inbound links.

Ignoring offline marketing would be foolish. I'm not saying that it fits into every company's marketing strategy. But if you only market online, then your only customers will be the ones who happen to find you. For many industries it's better for YOU to select your potential customers. And direct …
