When I go to Web Development Discussion Community and scroll down to the post titled "What skills do you need to become a good web developer?", I see in the post snippit
Hi, I'm Olivia, 16 years old and I guess I've always been a bit geeky. ~snip~
If I open the post I see
Hi, I'm Kavin, I guess I've always been a bit geeky. ~snip~

Why is there a difference?

I think it would be more appealing if it were written in the first person - or at least the opening spiel. :)

I've also seen many times where a newbie will mark their own new thread solved because they don't realize what the button means.

I think sometimes they're just seeing if they can rort the reputation system.

Lelelele, it would be preferable if you started a new thread rather than resurrect a prehistoric thread.
You also need to explain in more detail what problems you are having with your PC, what browser you're using and anything else of relevance.

Sam Burgess needs to come back to the Australia's NRL and hook up with the Rabbitohs. That way my wife will be happy and I'll maintain my sanity - well at least some of it.

Some things say "NetworkServiceNetworkRestricted" or "LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation" does this mean the internet is not connecting?

No, they are basically just service categories, each instance of svchost.exe will be running 1 or more services. For example:

NetworkServiceNetworkRestricted
Commandline: C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k NetworkServiceNetworkRestricted
Services:
    PolicyAgent IPsec Policy Agent          C:\Windows\System32\ipsecsvc.dll

LocalServiceNoNetwork
Commandline: C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNoNetwork
Services:
    BFE         Base Filtering Engine       C:\Windows\system32\bfe.dll
    DPS         Diagnostic Policy Service   C:\Windows\system32\dps.dll
    MpsSvc      Windows Firewall            C:\Windows\system32\mpssvc.dll

spoolsv.exe is just the print spooler.

What problem does your computer have?
The DDS log shows nothing of concern.

It would be worthwhile slipstreaming service pack 3 into your installation disk. The guide here is comprehensive and relatively easy to follow.

If you like, I can get you to run SystemLook to see if the correct copy of the problem files is stored anywhere on your computer. Let me know if you wish to pursue this.

I'd recommend also running AdwCleaner (click the Download Now @ BleepingComputer button.) just to remove any dregs of all the junkware removed.

It appears that the Eset scan found a lot of PUAs.
Is your installation disk one for XP service pack 3?
Have you tried running SFC from safe mode?

Move lines 41 to 45 to printIntroMenu()
I gather that the user id and password are both mean't to be positive integers, if that's the case then it seems that the same userid and password variables would be needed by createAccount() and login()
You can pass these variables as pointers if you learned about pointers otherwise define them as global variables (edit: given the function signatures, just use global variables). Initialize them both to a negative integer e.g -1
If login() is selected, test whether userid and password are -1, if they are then the user needs to first create an account. Display a message to indicate this.

In login, have two local variables e.g int temp_id, temp_pass;
take the input into these local variables, then test.

if (temp_id == userid && temp_pass == password)
// if successful login call printMainMenu()

I'm off to bed so I'll leave with the above. Hopefully it points you in the right direction. :)

You have too many arguments as indicated. You could use:
transform(theReadMessage.begin(), theReadMessage.end(), theReadMessage.begin(), ::tolower);

Using a lambda:

transform(theReadMessage.begin(), theReadMessage.end(), theReadMessage.begin(), [](char ch)
{
    return tolower(ch);
});
