Quick 30-day audit (prioritized wins)

  • Search-terms cleanup: pull the last 30 days of actual queries, move irrelevant queries to negative lists, and promote high-intent queries into focused ad groups.
  • Ad assets and extensions: create 2–3 distinct ad variants per ad group and enable relevant extensions (sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets). Extensions increase ad real estate and measurable CTR lift.
  • Structure and match-type split: separate high-volume keywords into tight, single-topic groups (SKAG-style or tightly themed groups) and keep match types segmented so performance is visible and controllable.
  • Landing experience: use a single-purpose landing page for each top ad group, mobile-first layout, fast load time, clear headline that mirrors the ad, one visible CTA, and obvious trust signals (contact, secure checkout).
  • Bid/target tuning: apply device, location, and schedule bid adjustments where performance justifies it; prioritize effort on keywords with sufficient impressions and conversions.
  • Measurement sanity check: verify conversion tags, enable impression-share metrics, and focus optimization on keywords that generate stable data.

Testing and pacing
Rotate ads evenly for a defined test window (2–4 weeks), choose winners by CTR and conversion rate, then move winners into dedicated ad groups and landing pages. Use dynamic insertion cautiously—check grammar and relevance. Run A/B tests for landing pages rather than guessing, and only consider automated bidding once conversion data is stable.

Triage and timeline
Work in phases: month 1 = audit + negatives + extensions; month 2 = focused ad/landing tests and segmentation; month 3 = scale winners and automate selectively. Prioritize changes on keywords with real traffic; very low-volume terms rarely justify heavy QS work. This approach builds on points from , and others while turning advice into measurable actions.

How many keywords you have in the ad? You want to keep the relatively few and were closely related to another. If that are advertising cars and trucks red cells, which require two different ad groups, and probably two different campaigns for this question. The goal is to keep very specific.

Hi, Google also scans your site for keywords and compares the results to the keywords in your campaign for relevance. The algorithm also looks for "red flag" words.

Good luck,

Some key strategies that should help:

  • Totally optimize your landing pages for the keywords as if you were optimizing for SEO.
  • Include contact us, privacy, disclaimers on the page.
  • Put keywords into VERY VERY closely related Ad groups.
  • Have keywords in Ad headline, Ad body, Display url & crucially on landing page.

Tip: Avoid 1 word keywords! They are for suckers.
(E.G if you sell shoes, don't bid on the keyword "Shoes")

Its more about relevancy... Your domain name, keyword selection, ad group name, campaign name, ad copy title all should be relevant which will give you high quality score

you improve your keyword you must put encore links some social book marks site.

Look there is three major factors, first and most important is CTR (around 60%), second is relevancy of ad texts (around 25%), Landing page quality (around 10%) and other factors may be (around 5%).

7/10 is pretty good.

Hope this will help
