I've try mail man in cpanel but do anybody out there know a good email program. Also, does mailing list work when you buy it from other places?

I personally dont like cpanel's webmail, if you prefer go download a pop mail client and configure it for your website. I enjoyed trying vista windows live mail hehehe :) worth giving a try it
