A friend of mine has just purchased a new vid card and is having driver issues. He has a ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe Mobo, AMD Phenom Quad-core 9600 2.31GHz, w/ 8Gb of G-Skill DDR-2, running on Win XP Pro x64. The system was working fine with the old card, but when the new ASUS 3870X2 was installed a driver error occurred. The bios was updated, firewall turned off, and ASUS insured compatibility (with their own products), but the problem persisted. Nearing the end of installation a text box pops up stating "setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system". We are both at a loss on this, any help is greatly appreciated.
